What actually happens at a sound bath?
No water, no chanting, no experience needed. Here's what to expect from your first session.

The name confuses a lot of people. You won't get wet. A sound bath is simply a guided relaxation where you lie down and are 'bathed' in sound from instruments like crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls and gongs.
Getting settled
You'll arrive to a softly lit studio with mats, bolsters and blankets laid out. We encourage you to get as comfortable as possible — socks on, eye pillow if you like.
The sound itself
After a short breathing practice, the sound begins. It starts gently and builds into rich, layered tones you can almost feel in your body. Some people drift off, some see colours, some just enjoy a rare hour with no phone.
Why it helps
Long, steady tones give a busy mind something to rest on. Many of our guests tell us it's the first time in ages their thoughts have truly gone quiet, and that they sleep beautifully afterwards.
If you've struggled with meditation before, a sound bath is a wonderful place to start — there's nothing to get right or wrong. Simply turn up and listen.
